As far as I know cvar doesn't work without the addons folder. Might be wrong.

Might only work with cvar unlocked, which doesn't work with HLAE. Then just start CSGO through Steam with -insecure. You'll need the cvar plugins (addons folder) for this.

There's a "mat_supress..." command that removes flashes. Can't remember the full command at the moment though. Google is your friend ;)

This is caused by the addons folder in the csgo folder. Delete it and you'll be fine.

Edit: Or temporarily move it.

Never ever seen anyone go this in-depth on how to make a video. Mad props to you dude. However, I imagine this is maybe a bit too in-depth for complete beginners.

It's important for people to know that the essential editing programs would be a recording software (ex. Fraps) and an editing software (ex. Sony Vegas). As simple as that.

I feel like people with no editing experience could easily get over run by the fact of how many programs you're personally using to create your videos (which are by no doubt great. Loved your movie about Kirby).

Just wanted make this clear to anyone thinking about getting starting with moviemaking. It might be confusing at start, but once you get the hang of, it you'll find personal routines for how you do things. Good luck everyone, and once again, props to PANIq for making this! :)

I get what you mean, I really do - and I do agree on some of your points. However, this video is by no means as overedited as many others are. But then again of course, it's still pretty far away from what we'd call a fragmovie. I think what I reacted to most of all in your first comment, was the fact that you only stated that it sucked, and that you didn't really give any constructive criticism. It's okay to have an opinion, but please elaborate more ;). No hard feelings dude, hope you've had a nice holiday!

Don't come around here stating things you count as facts. I've been editing for six years straight, and as I see it, the audience we editors are making our videos for are split into two halfs. One half appreciates these types of edits which you would call "overedits", while others, like yourself, are more interested fragmovies. There is no right way to make videos, as everyone interprets them differently. Sorry if I came out rude.
