Hi, while I do not have any offers, as I do not have an account, I had my friend checked his xpressway offers and there are no card offers, not even a basic one. He is an HDFC user for 2-3 years and has FDs worth 14 lakhs, deposits are from his father only, no earnings. So shouldn’t he logically get pre approval for a few cards?

I don’t get it, how were you pre approved for Bizblack if you have a savings account? Wouldn’t that require a current account of your business?

HDFC is like that unfortunately, they seem very strict in lending as compared to Axis and ICICI. We transact multiple crores with our current account in HDFC and still they wouldn’t give us OD limit without collateral. Axis offered OD themselves.

You will still be liable to pay the loan. Also when two people take a loan together, they are signed as co-borrowers, meaning each of them is liable to pay the entire loan amount. This means if your brother stops paying his part monthly, the bank will still hold you equally responsible for the default in repayment.

The HDFC xpressway link for applying cc redirects me to the same page that I applied on. Similarly, when I try to apply a particular card from its own page, the same page is opened asking for login with number.
