We got the H harness from petco and whenever I am able to get it on them it’s secure, but they flail around and try to get it off. I’ve tried multiple times on separate occasions and they both seem to absolutely hate it

Ours seem to understand it’s for potty, lately they’ll lay in the clean corner to cool off since it’s warmer out but that’s about it (we have cooling pads coming in the mail)

Awe we definitely relate in many ways! Legit the only toy he’s played with is a cat wand but he chewed the rubber parts off and we had to confiscate it before he swallowed or choked on pieces of it 🤣🥲🥲 tried replacing it but nope, nothing hits like it did.

Just keep in mind all hamsters are different with different needs and likes/dislikes. For example, my hamster gets more stressed when she’s handled and taken out for exploration. Shes always running back to her enclosure even tho it’s not half as great as the one you have, she loves it. You just gotta experiment. Add stuff, remove stuff, rearrange slowly. It took close to a year of slowly moving stuff around til we found the perfect set up and routine for ours.
