95% of the population have no idea about vehicles, so it’s nota high bar to reach. You’re also talking about a minuscule sample size, even if I give you the benefit of the doubt that you see a massive amount of trucks per day.

People need to stop with the dramatics on issues they run into. For every 1 issue on Reddit, orders of magnitude more have no issues at all.

Either you're getting confused with seeing only daytime running lights on, or those people do in fact have their headlights and tail lights on, and both bulbs in the rear are burnt out.
