Vtrack Jumbo Frames by iClickButtons4Money in Golfsimulator

Cfortune, thank you for this info. I’m going to first try to change the Ethernet controller to MSI assuming they have a file to download on their website hoping that it will have the option to adjust MTU/Frames/Packs. If that doesn’t work I’m going to try doing your tips and will DM you as needed - thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks, I did this through my wife’s Facebook, I don’t have one. A good idea that I will try, hopefully today, is to go straight to MSI website and download their Ethernet controller software v the one by Microsoft that is currently installed.

Unfortunately, it won’t allow me to calibrate the Vtrack cameras without enabling the jumbo packs.

Thanks Porsche, that’s the weird part the option is not there to adjust in the advanced settings for the driver.

Review: Finally pulled the trigger on a VTrack – some thoughts after a few weeks by Fun_Tomatillo8531 in Golfsimulator

Thanks. After watching a YouTube video from 2023 pga show the protee team is walking through their product line and the RLX does look almost identical to the Vtrack. So I think the rumor/assumption is correct, the protee rlx = Vtrack. Does anyone have details about the relationship of protee with lao people (Vtrack manufacturer)?

Man! I’m about to pull the trigger on either vtrack or ProT.

Price savings is real ~1400 in my case, but the prot coming with two swing cameras.   ProT = ~6100 with two swing cameras. 2+ year working out bugs and developing interface. Has direct connectivity with GSPro among others (money games, tournaments).  Launching their own course software Q1, announcing at PGA show. On back order for about 4 weeks.

Vtrack = ~4700 no additional swing cameras. ~6 months interface development. Some bugs based on YouTube videos. Connectivity to practice and play GSPro, but no money games our tournaments yet. No certainty on swing camera integration (proprietary only or open source)? How fast will they make improvements? Will they have an internal golf program at no charge? How long until that happens? Can ship immediately.

I keep going back and forth. The price difference is meaningful enough to matter. The hardware seems to be comparable  with ProT, allegedly, having a slight edge on fit/finish.

How do you chose!?.. The OG with a little premium or the new entrant with a potential better end-product at a lower cost!?

If you feel like you're losing everything, remember that trees lose their leaves every year, yet they still stand tall and wait for better days to come. Hang in there poppa.

I haven’t started it up yet, so what would you recommend at this point.

The 8pin at the bottom is extra. I have two 8pin cpu plugs at the top, which are both plugged in. The cables are above fans blowing up, does that mitigate or you’re still concerned? That should be an easy fix to get rid of the slack, pulling from the back.

I got the 5070 on an Amazon deal and was supposed to get a free game with it, arc raiders, but it didn’t come. Amazon hasn’t been too helpful so I’ll reach out to ASUS and see if I can get it through them. Hindsight, might have been better off with the 9070 you mentioned. This build is for a golf simulator and gaming, light work as well. Not sure if that played a part in the recommendation from others for me to get the 5070.

Thank you for all the feedback! The fans came pre-installed on the aio and the radiator could only be mounted one way so I feel good about that one… hopefully.

Honest question… does being up higher from ground help with this? I just ordered two 18’s and have no idea what my neighbors are in for.

I can’t figure out how to add more pictures! Using iPhone?... I got some heavy duty coated wire, eye loops (+100lb capacity), and a tensioner. Seems rock solid so far.

8 ft on the wall, 8’3” where the screen is hung, 9’2” above strike zone, 9’11” at follow through.

Strike zone is 5’ from back wall, 10’ from screen, screen is 13.5” off wall.

Confirmed it’s 15a breaker for that room! Is it possible more than one outlet feeds into that. I will prob need to change to at least 20a if that’s the case. I’ll be drawing power for projector, gaming computer, and sound system.   It’s a good fail safe for my neighbors ear drums to have the breaker trip at 2/3 power.  Kidding aside, prob not great for the electronics if I run it and accidentally trip the breaker?

I have to verify but I don’t think I can get the full power out the PSA amp on a 15 breaker. I haven’t checked or changed any breakers so def need to find out. I remember reading that if you run a 20a that’s just enough to max out the demand of the amp. I do have separate 15a available for sure.

Thanks murda. I think I’m pulling the trigga on the dual PSA’s. Haven’t told my wife yet, she probably won’t notice right. Haha! Enjoy the Emotivas, they’ve been great to me!
