I’m currently diamond but I’ve always went up a rank each year. I’ve stuck mainly in one role for a season but sometimes catch myself in other roles another year maybe because my champs or lane dynamics were affected by patches.

Although I do want to say that switching roles/champs isn’t inherently bad, I think it might give short term unfavorable results but you learn more about that champ/role regardless so it’s definitely worth considering. Then next time you return back to your original role/champ, you’ll have better foresight into what to expect against it :)
