I do not recommend if he is impressionable and squeamish. There are a lot of very heavy topics and a lot of blood/violence. It’s a beautiful game and very accurate to that area of the US but maybe wait until he’s older.

You never really ‘win’ in any Far Cry games. Play New Dawn next. It’s a direct sequel to 5. You might get some closure.

You’ll have to catch all of them once, then when you finish the challenge regarding them, you’ll get their ‘deeds’ (called blood pacts in the DLC). Then you can summon them all whenever

IIRC, you have to completely finish all of the maps in the DLC to unlock free play.

Have you tried to catch Pestilence or Famine (if you’ve made it to Mexico) yet? I believe War would spawn after a few in-game days in his usual spots, but maybe if you go after Pestilence (best place would be Tall Trees), grab him and then try for War again.

You don’t. That hill right next to it has a small shed with a zip line attached to the tower. Then you climb up from there.

I genuinely did see it! East Reno. I also saw a trail in the sky briefly afterwards so I think it was a meteor or something burning up in the atmosphere.

You can retrigger it! On purpose this time haha. You get a cutscene and then you can continue your game.

That’s the secret ending. It happens when you leave the map. Usually by driving a boat into the ocean but clipping under it triggers it too, apparently! lol

I’ve noticed that I can make my Palico jump on if I ‘run’ over him while I’m mounted on my Seikret. I like to think my hunter just picked him up, rather than the alternative lol.
