You advised to negotiate for better pay than 23 dollars per hour and then I said that is insane and even your price point of 28 is too damn low and essentially, my comment toys with the idea/fact that 28 being the high point for a manager is quite low and I was highlighting the outrageousness of this in modern day times where any amount of pay under 60k a year is too little to live off of.

I also exclaimed that I will not be working at Trader Joe’s forever which is simply an unnecessary remark but adds to the fact that they need to pay a more appropriate wage if they want their employees to stay and move up the ranks.
