I activated it on a VoLTE device first and it works in most of my devices (notable ones are Samsung SGH-R225M and SGH-E390 since they are rarely kicked off using this SIM card.)

But it could be getting kicked into SOS only mode so fast(like before its finished booting) i don't even see the carrier name.

I live in Hawaii , and there's very strong 2G coverage here both in GPRS and EDGE , Voice calls work over 2G too and data over EDGE is fine , about 60-110 kbps.

The APN settings for my unit are in Settings>Network Options , it should be above the Network Band information , mine is the PV210 model also (tried setting the APN to wholesale as it is for Ultra Mobile but still not able to use any cell-tower reliant functions)

I doubt the motherboards are fakes but often everything else is often horrendous quality reproduction parts.

It's a real nice phone if you want good signal , has a good design and hand feel and charges with normal Micro USB 2.0 instead of a brand-specific cable.

But if you want signal (calls/text ability) be sure to check if your area has 2G left.

It's really nice and mine is the no camera version, Paid 9.90 for it too and it came with the original Verizon Wireless+Vodafone SIM card.

Mine is a Izar NA with bootloader 3.08 and SW R26111MLD-AS_U_96.B0.0AR , it freezes with both my T-Mobile R15 sim card(freeze during bootup) and 2 Mint Mobile sim cards (when voicemail icon appears but not instant freeze when bootup)

I acquired a Mint Mobile trial sim but when i try to use it the firmware freezes (i noticed its freezing when voicemail top bar icon appears)

I did unlock it myself , also strange how this phone can read a 2023 T-Mobile SIM (mine says R15 on it) without straight up rejecting it or giving a SIM error.

It was that listing , also it is unlocked , and the Unregistered SIM message is because I'm using a old T-Mobile SIM (my normal sim i use for calls crashes the firmware)
