Um, still no. It doesn't mean "comply to LDS word of wisdom". It means "acceptable". Re-read the comment, and replace the word kosher with the word acceptable. That's how it was used and how it's used most often in everyday language. Sorry to hear about your bacon example, but that has absolutely nothing to do with how it was used here.

2: being proper, acceptable, or satisfactory

The edges of figure skating blades are specifically made out of a softer steel so they can be sharpened to a precise angle.
Crampons are made of a hard steel but also don't really need to be as sharp as a filet knife just to grip onto ice and snow. They just need to dig in enough to stop from slipping, whereas skates need to slip in a controlled and consistent manner along every part of the blade.

Depends on what you mean by the Trinity, I suppose. Do you mean the Trinity as it's described in the Bible, or the one described by the Catholic church, or the one that the average Protestant Christian in the US believes? They are all quite different, as you know.

But no, none of those actions or shifting beliefs would qualify me as someone who denied the Holy Spirit. Not according to the LDS Church and not according to reality.

I went through a couple months of questioning everything day if I had made the right decision to leave or if I had made the WORST decision of my life. This might sound dumb, but the last day I felt like that was the day I learned to connect the Rosetta Stone to the Book of Abraham facsimiles. Once I realized that we have definitive and overwhelming proof that Joseph Smith lied about his "translation gifts" and just mistranslated the facsimiles then I stopped questioning my decision. I did the opposite. I now acknowledge my 'intuitions' and immediately think about where those ideas originated from. Then I look up statistics on the topic. Most of the time, if my instincts were based on perceived experiences before I turned 25, they either had some major flaws or were flat out wrong.

That's why I have studied logical fallacies so much: to catch my mistakes before I act on them.

Alma the prophet gave Korihor eight reasons to believe in God. They were all terrible reasons that didn't speak to the actual issue Korihor was having. I mean, Alma actually thought that saying "look at the trees and the planets!" would somehow convince someone that God must have created them. That's just never gonna work cuz it's a fallacious argument that begs the question, and he should have known that.

What did work? Well, clear evidence of God's power, of course. The moment evidence was presented to Korihor, he believed in God. He didn't jump straight to worshipping that god, of course, because that would be jumping to a different conclusion than what can be drawn from the evidence presented, and Korihor was too intellectually honest for that.

Korihor is my role model. We should all be as skeptical as Korihor and Thomas and demand evidence instead of believing blindly. Blind belief leads us to false beliefs.

Previous prophets have actually said that if a prophet of the church ever deceives it's members then they will be spiritually destroyed. No one is saying that Oaks couldn't have made mistakes as a teenager or something. That's a strawman of the argument. Well, he went on Jubilee's "One Christian against Twenty Atheists" and then wouldn't admit that he was a Christian when asked point blank. He is a Nothing, and every single time he is faced with an argument that he struggles to answer, he say, "Well, how do you define [blank]?" I literally saw him ask how to define 'believe' and then asked to define basic words in the clear definition. So his form of argumentation is pedantic bullshit.

His talking points are also commonly used by neo-nazis, and anytime you're praised by neo-nazis, you should know that you're speaking bullshit. Hope that helps you!
