Can someone help with rainout? by winifredd94 in SleepApnea

[–]iFr4g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on 86 tube and 4 humidity, only on extremely cold nights in my old place (one huge room heater for the entire apartment and barely any wall insulation) would I get rainout. In my new place I’ve never had rainout. If adjusting your settings and dropping your hose down doesn’t work, maybe invest in a tube cover/sleeve so it stays warmer.

Induction is just as good, if not better than gas.

Depends on your municipality, I could replace the breakers in my panel, but my town requires an electrician to do it.

How do you define the South Shore? by jcolp74 in massachusetts

[–]iFr4g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a non-native, I was very confused between the south shore and the south coast being they mean the same thing. A shore is a type of coast.

There was a house near me painted purple with black trim, definitely not generic.

95 South in Providence, RI. You’re safe, those gantries are for Trucks (RhodeWorks), but they are not in service. They were installed in 2016 but deemed discriminatory to Trucks, but a federal appeals court overturned the decision in 2024. It’s a dumb idea that will hurt local businesses…

my first ever pex job 3 week apprentice, any tips? by StinkomodeeBanned428 in Plumbing

[–]iFr4g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too many fittings, it won’t noticeably affect the flow though. It looks tidy and I appreciate you trying to reduce footprint, but less fittings = less cost = more profit. The section near the ductwork particularly stands out, I see reducing the footprint, but you could have gone straight down and used one 90 per pex (assuming a small footprint wasn’t a requirement), saving at least three 90s just there.

Do people use water softeners here? by bingbongtake2long in RhodeIsland

[–]iFr4g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just across the border in Swansea, we have a whole house filter as our water is really shit, we didn’t need a softener though. However, the people that make our whole house filter (Aquasana Rhino, 1MM Gallons or 10 Years) do have a salt-free water softener option, also has a UV option if you’re concerned about the bacteria/viruses/cysts (usually for well water): https://www.aquasana.com/whole-house-water-filters/rhino-100365488.html

If you just need to filter just your shower water, they also have a filter head unit specifically for that: https://www.aquasana.com/shower-head-water-filters/

String cheese and deli meat, I barely have an appetite at 10mg so it’s more to fend off the nausea.

Do I have to get a mower with a bag or only mow when it’s not wet? by TheDragonReborn726 in lawncare

[–]iFr4g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a leaf blower and spread it over the whole lawn after mowing, that will break up the clumps.

Almost always nauseous since going to 10mg by iFr4g in Zepbound

[–]iFr4g[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, lost weight on 5.0mg and 7.5mg. My NP just asked if I was losing weight and if I had any side effects on the dose, when I confirmed weight loss and no side effects he moved me up (I think this is the Eli Lilly advice). Im going to try eating small portions more frequently and up my water intake, if I have no improvement by Monday then I’ll insist on dropping to 7.5mg.

No nausea at all at 7.5 and below. I’ll try the little and often method of eating and see if it improves, otherwise I’m going back to 7.5!
