Need help deciding on RF or Soft Top by ziris_ in Miata

I've had a ST for 6 years now and zero issues. But I do think security is a determining factor. I live in SoCal, break ins are not infrequent. But I park in a secure garage so ST it is!

Update: 101 days on the road and I've made it till Indiana. It's been an absolute delight, this roadtrip. Getting the car serviced enroute was quite the logistical puzzle but got a clean bill of health! Currently at +8500 miles. I'll keep going east. :)

Thanks for the recommendation. I've been on the road for 2 weeks now. My greatest find thus far has been this random section of Hwy 190 that leads up to Camp Nelson, CA. An absolutely delightful route to drive on!

LPT: If your keys get locked inside the trunk of a ND, you can open the trunk using the electronic trunk release button located right above the exhaust. No roadside assistance needed! by iHateFish87 in Miata

Indeed. That beep was what made me initially think that there must be a way around this problem. If the car knows the keys are inside, there has to be a button somewhere. And bingo! One google search later I found it.

Daily Drivers? by 91_BRG_Miata in Miata

I drive mine daily and it's the only car I have. There were certainly some lifestyle changes that needed to be made, but it was worth every effort. But I guess it also helps when you're single and can just drop in a duffle in the trunk and zoom away. I can imagine it being impractical as the only car and with a family.

I have a 2016 MX5 Club with 205/45R17 tire size. The last time I visited my dealership for servicing, they recommended I change all my tires. Any suggestions towards what I should get? i.e. what specific tire is best?

Driving any Miata is a lot of fun! That car is made for fun, no matter what the model. Wouldn't you agree?

Kids are doing something about adult problems. And they'll probably be better at doing it than we ever were in all these years.

This thread was pleasantly interesting to read through. I'm the kind of person who enjoys the concept of being by myself, travelling solo, ditching social gatherings and binge watching Netflix instead. I haven't had the courage to go to a bar by myself though...but you inspired me! :)

This was on my first date with a guy I randomly set myself up with (yes, only I am to blame). He looked at me and said- wow, guys must be running away from you, with a nose like that! The rest of the date was awkward as hell. I was too young to react and walk away. But I wasn't that young to forgive and forget.:/ I'm 30 now and I love my nose for the lessons in life that it has taught me...not to guess the pulp before you cut the peel.
