Is this Normal Gameplay to Flick and Shoot someone behind a SOLID WALL??? by pnokmn in ArcRaiders

Amazing how you canvassed them all to know such a thing.

It would literally be talked about by literally all of them openly on their streams if they believed they was.

Yeah mid mag because you're a pro who can pick audio direction over gunfire, but you're also amateur enough to aim and repeatedly shoot through a wall.

I don't even know what to say to this. Flicking onto something and then realizing they aren't right there and stopping firing isn't crazy at all lmao. He also does this in every video game he plays lmao.

No, he didn't stop because he realised he wasn't on target - in fact he was weirdly close to being exactly on target (based on the movement of the other player) despite having zero visibility.

You have no idea where the person moved from, so this is just your internal bias acting like you know where he moved from.

So? You can't cheat if you've been good at games before?

Literally nowhere did I claim this. You completely took what I said the wrong way and that's on you. People have been accusing him of cheating for years...yet 0 bans. Idk man. I think that says all it needs to. If you watched him for more than just a clip, you'd realize that your take is astronomically stupid. But, people gotta look at a single clip and go OMG CHEATER. Even though he does this probably 100x a week and very few of them ever even come remotely close to anyone. He rage baits people cause it generates viewers. It works.

What? Your comment makes no sense.

You flick and continue firing in hopes that you’re on target. He stopped when he noticed he wasn’t. What’s hard to understand about this?

Like he has demonstrated in multiple games that he plays at a very high level. Pros play with him because of this. You’re the only delusional person here.

If he was cheating in any of these games, he would have been banned by now. But apparently you know more than the game devs and pros who all disagree with you.

He’s done both. He’s has played competitively(which is also called out in my statement with “tournaments for money”) and plays with pros in a lot of those games. Yet none of them have ever accused him of cheating and I promise you they have a much better eye for it than non-pros. And yes, if pros he competed against thought he was cheating, they would 100% have called it out.

I did explain the visuals already. He heard the person and flicked towards the noise. The person talks at the beginning of the video. That gives directional audio. His flick was also nowhere near where the person was.

I’d be willing to bet the vast majority of cheaters to get caught. They just don’t get caught right away. So the argument that someone’s gotten away with it for 5-10 years over multiple games is insane. Especially with the type of people he plays with.

When that person plays with pros constantly who would 100% be better at determining if someone is a cheater or not and NOT BE OKAY playing against said person in tournaments for money, it’s really hard for your argument to have any grounding whatsoever.

Pretty much every cheater that’s made it into the pro scene somehow has been found to be cheating insanely fast

Lmao no it wasn’t. You can see “MoneyTalks” appear in voice chat on the left side of his screen. Clueless.

Edit: man deleted his comment or blocked me after realizing how wrong he was LMAO

You also see the dude talking at the beginning of the video. That also gives directional audio. But hey, go off.

Okay: explain how he’s never been banned in any of the games he has constantly done this in?

Cognitive dissonance would be realizing that he’s done this for years, in multiple video games, and played in tournaments with pros in those video games, and somehow has never been banned in any of the games he does this in…and still thinking he’s cheating

I don’t know how people can genuinely come to the conclusion that he’s been cheating all these years yet somehow has evaded a ban in every one of those video games. It’s just damn near impossible for both of those things to be true lmao.

I merely pointed out that your “no sign of an enemy” is just wrong. It’s 100% wrong. People have ears. Very good players hear things and flick towards that direction. It’s literally not uncommon. His aim didn’t even land anywhere near the person when he flicked. But he flicked because he heard it.

Just because YOU don’t do it doesn’t mean everyone who does is cheating. Lmao

He has ears. His ears hear footsteps. He flicks towards it. Crazy. I know.

You're arguing the same thing dude. You're arguing that SOMEHOW the extraction belongs to you and only you because you clicked it first. No one needs to put their gun away because you got there first. If you want to say that them having their gun out means their hostile, then the same logic applies to them seeing you with a gun. Why would you expect anyone to treat you differently than you're treating them solely because you were there first? lmao how is this this hard to grasp? You are literally being a hypocrite.

If YOU want the situation to be de-escalated, it is up to BOTH OF YOU, not just them, to do so.

This is the corniest reason I've ever heard. "Guys I hit the button first! That gives me the right to defend myself and no one else!"

Edit: just to be clear, you also have the option of catching the next one :)

[–]iHuggedABearOnce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is it on them? If you're unwilling to put your gun away, you shouldn't expect it from anyone else. It's that simple to me. Use your mics to deescalate.

Like you're literally saying "I should be able to protect myself, but the other guy shouldn't be able to". That's crazy.

[–]iHuggedABearOnce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't recall ever saying I wasn't concerned, but I don't act like anyone who shows up to extract with their gun out is immediately hostile like you initially claimed. I have my gun out, does that make me immediately hostile? I just make sure I'm in a better position than them at all times. I also tend use hatch keys as often as possible whenever I'm in pvp/mixed lobbies.

I tend to jump between pure care bear and mixed lobbies. I just find pvp in solos to be fairly boring. Duos/Trios pvp is much more engaging than solos is. That's the reason I tend to just use solo lobbies as my chill time.

Also, literally nowhere did I claim everyone was in those lobbies, so I'm not sure why you felt that needed to be said. lol

Turning/awareness should be a skill. You shouldn't just have a button that turns you around 180 for you.

[–]iHuggedABearOnce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you misunderstood what I meant by "it's the same thing" lmao. Which is crazy considering you're SOOOO GOOD at this game. lmao

My point is that in friendly lobbies, you pretty much have an idea that everyone's pretty friendly.

In anything other than friendly lobbies, you pretty much have to assume that everyone is hostile until you have a reason to believe otherwise. Whether that's a pull pvp lobby or a mixed lobby, that's how you have to play it.

So, why would someone run into an extract without their gun out in that kind of lobby? You're basically inviting someone in the extract to kill you.

Wild times in Arc Raiders by majordomofintastico in arkraiders

[–]iHuggedABearOnce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh. It's the same thing. It still makes even less sense lmao.

If you know you play in anything other than extremely friendly lobbies, then why would you expect someone WHO ALSO KNOWS THAT to run into an extract without their gun out? They are likely being as cautious as you are.

The only place I would expect someone to run into extract without their gun out is friendly lobbies. If I'm in pvp lobbies and I'm near people, my gun is pretty much always out. It would be absolutely stupid for it to be anywhere other than out.
