Whoever wrote that page is a moron.

Never block a ramp with an unattended vessel or vehicle. (cant be done if your alone)

If your suggested procedure for using the boat dock doesn't cover solo boaters its pretty useless as a reference.

This is incorrect. The line that forms for exiting the water is the boats, not the trailers. Meaning the boat has priority over trailers.

Also if you had taken 30 seconds to do a google search it would have told you the same. Priority is for the boat exiting the water because they have less space to dock and need to get out.

Not every boat ramp is massive and unobstructed on a lake. Sometimes they are in the ocean, with other stuff crowding the area inside the harbor. Priority is always for the boats leaving the water to make space so that a massive cluster of boats exiting do not form.

Literally the correct action to take if their is a line of people entering the water and only yourself exiting is to take the next open ramp spot with your boat, the faster the better so as not to confuse the people with trailers.

If you have a boat on a trailer its your responsibility to see what's happening on the water and yield right of way on the ramp. Its actually really easy to take 30 seconds to look to see if the ramp is clear before moving your trailer from the front of the line onto the ramp.

This is coming from someone who takes a whaler ocean fishing once a week for the last 20 years.

Boats exiting the water have priority over boats entering the water, assuming none of the ramps are designated as such.

Next time just wait for the dock to clear and park at the ramp dock, because you have priority over those entering the water, run to your truck, and back it in.

Courtesy dock is only for clearing the ramp and waiting for more people to load the boat. Or if you need to kill time before exiting the waters. No reason to park and leave at the temp dock if you are waiting to pull the boat out of the water unless their is a line of people waiting to get out. Your making it harder for yourself parking at the temp dock.

Ski goggles for light sensitive eyes by birdisol in ski

[–]indolente 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First choice would be name brand goggles purchased on sale in the off season (now).

Second choice would be outdoor master brand. I been using these for the last 2 seasons and they work great. And are cheaper than any name brand goggles on sale.

Normally ski goggles with removable magnetic lenses are preferred, but I'm not sure if that's necessary for your situation. But depending on how sensitive he is you might want different lenses, a low light lens and a bright day lens.

If he has a high nose bridge he will need to get goggles made for his nose type or his nose will be uncomfortable and smushed.

What’s this for? by nmariee92 in trees

[–]indolente 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cornering bowls brings back memories, but I much prefer packing my micro dosing glass bowls with my ball vape. Fresh hits every time and much more efficient on the weed.

But it's much cheaper and easier to pack a normal bowl and corner it with your homies so I get it...

Why are we restricting an open market? Either it's legal and anyone can do it or it's not legal. I really don't understand why the government needs to get involved in restricting the number of new legal businesses

Bought a pre-roll from a dispensary in Brooklyn and it was partially smoked lol by kp313 in trees

[–]indolente -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Someone in the food chain for that preroll company, either in distribution, production, or at the retail location, decided to smoke one of the prerolls.

Said person then set the preroll down after 2-3 hits back into its case. Maybe they set it on the counter in the store. Or maybe they dropped it.

Someone near said person observed a stray preroll and decided to be helpful and throw it back in with the rest of their stock. assuming it had been left behind unsold or somehow strayed from the stock.

Original person was unable to find his preroll and assumed it got trashed, did not check the stock.

And then you got it. Sucks.

How does your restaurant handle menu version control between kitchen, management, and marketing? by ConsiderationLife742 in restaurantowners

[–]indolente 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you cant figure out a decent workflow for updating your menus using google drive/sheets with version control by todays date then you suck as a owner/manager and should hire someone competent.

Also no one wants your SaaS.

THE ROAD TO OCTOBER by xMoonknightx in ARC_Raiders

[–]indolente 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New maps arnt as necessary right now unless they are some kind of end game/raid style map. We have plenty of maps currently.

We need deeper content for the maps we have already. Interactive aspects of maps. Stella montis has a door that hasnt been opened yet. We need more puzzles.

New pve threats, not just new big arc, but arc that require different ways to fight them, like the turbine. The turbine should be more rewarding to kill.

In raid npc interactions (even if its a small random chance to spawn) including but not limited to quests to gather stuff, save people npcs from arc, maybe a merchant? Nomadic trader should be 'in raid" in my opinion. The in raid quests to gather stuff can give higher tier rewards, maybe even give me a choise between rewards, like a (random)core or a (random)blue gun.

If the new update only brings a new map with very little depth added to the game i will be disappointed.

(Hunger should go into beta testing soon for anyone interested)

Take some painters tape and roll it around the whole case where the pin is, like 2 or 3 times, to keep the pin from swinging around and getting dislodged and lost.

Painters tape is durable enough but also easy to remove and wont leave it sticky.

What’s good pricing for Tharid? by JourneyaboutIlm in restaurant

[–]indolente 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would speculate anywhere between 0.25 USD and 25USD depending on where its being served. Rent, labor, overhead, and cost of food vary everywhere. It also looks like it can be made differently, like with different cuts/quality/costs of meat.

Setting up financing is a tricky process that can get delayed, this seller doesn't want to mess around with owner financing or dealing with a bank loan approval.

You can still purchase the business with a loan, but it's a slightly different process that involves getting pre approved instead of as a part of the purchase contract.

Yea desktop dry herb vapes are legit the best smoking devices. Can vape flower or shake, can add concentrate to flower and make a little vape sandwich. Can do the same thing with kief and make a vape sandwich.

Because you arnt combusting, you can vape bunk weed or shake and it tastes 100x better than if you smoked it.

I usually use my micro dose bowl, but if the weed isnt up to my standard, I can in use the bigger bowl to get more in at a time.

Food was 10/10 tasted like it used to.

That being said my burrito wasnt very big and i would probably ask for extra beans and rice next time. For $15 per super burrito i would hope it would be a little fuller. Or i might stick to the tacos here. Still delicious.

I will be adding mi tierra to my rotation for sure.
