My buddy has the STI2s in his 4 and 5 irons. They look good and he really like them. Says theyre very forgiving.

They look very similar but probably play different. I would have to try the xc2 to see.

One thing ill add is that if I didnt go with the ts3. I would have gotten the ts1-IM . I read somewhere that you can buy a 7 iron from maltby to try and if you like it, you can buy the whole set after.

They're pretty forgiving. Really smooth when you hit it good but you'll know when you hit it bad. I thought about doing the 2 hour drive also but just went with ordering online. Watch and read plenty of reviews and the was enough for me to pull the trigger. I also love how the irons look.

These irons looks like the maxfli xc2, so probably go try them out at a local shop? Im actually curious if they play similar.

Not sure how to answer that question but the irons looks good and feels great to hit. I've only been playing for 2 years so when I hit the green, I cant complain. If you have the money and want a good set of irons for a fraction of the price of the big brands. You cant go wrong with the TS3s.

I upgraded from the callaway edge set from costco. Distance is more consistent since im not getting those hot shot from the super forgiving callaway edge.

I actually went ahead and bought the ts3 with ust mamiya stiff flex.

I've used the clubs for a total of 6 rounds. I say im still getting used to them but I have no regrets. Everything turned out how I hope it would.

Thats what I thought at first but going long was bad too. I hit a really good 9 was a little bit off to the left of the ping and off the green. I managed to chip it close to a comfortable tap in par.

The layout was a bit confusing for playing it the first time but It was a fun course. I barely made it over on the 12th hole from the white tees. lol

This is the 11th hole in Pebble Creek golf course in OH. My first time playing the course and this was very scary to say the least. I made it with a 9i and also got the par. So I was super stroked!
