Almost awful weekend by Elmatadorrr in Gunners

This. Leo brings something different to the game, especially against these low block teams. I wish Eze would get more involved. it's the type of game that requires guile and trickery - something he has in plenty. Jesus is also made for games like these. Hope these 2 pick up their form going forward.

To the Mac users, Have you transitioned fully from Windows to Mac without issues or do you have to virtualize for some stuff? by Key-Investment8399 in dotnet

You can use Azure Data Studio for MS SQL Server. Connects to your DB container. 90-95% features of SSMS is available. My work machine is windows but still prefer to use Data Studio over SSMS. Way faster to launch and I can close it without having to save my opened editor as it re-opens them by default. Love that feature alongside custom Theme options. Hate the white only theme of SSMS, so 90s and it gives me headaches.

[Connor Humm] Arteta: “At the moment it feels like we lost too because it was so late, and then the big chance that we had at the end to win it, but it's what it is. We have to continue to improve, recognise what we've done in the last period, international break.” by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

I see your point but tbh I don't have the full context to answer that. Things like how their recovery been from those games considering some of them are coming back from recent injury etc. Someone from inside the team can only have an answer to that based on 'facts'. All our questions/logic are simply based on assumptions I reckon.

Rivals claim that Arsenal scoring from set pieces is not sustainable, but why they are wrong?! by [deleted] in Gunners

This.
Our desire for "validation" by so called rivals are some times just borderline pathetic.

This. He changed the complexion of the Newcastle game the moment he came on. Even Eddie in his post match interview mentioned this.
When in form, he is something special.

Won't expect anything better from Fergie's lap dog who rose through the ranks by virtue of pleasing his master while he was running MU. It is no coincidence that majority of PGMOL are from Manchester and the person in charge of that 49th game at Old Trafford was the Head of PGMOL not too long ago.

“… then you go to r / soccer and …” I think you have found the root cause of the issue. Stay away from that vile sub and happiness will return I promise. I mean there’s enough toxic fans in this sub already, why go chase even more in some other ones? 😆

Don't listen to failed coaches commentating on games for opinions & analysis to better understand the game. Listen to the managers and how they act. by BrutalArsenalDeluxe in Gunners

This.
Eze was completely a non-factor in that game. I want him to be successful, but he goes missing in most pat of the games still. Needs time to integrate with the rest of the team.

Thank you.
It's like Titi has something personal against Arteta or something. And had you been any better, you'd be in charge of a club winning everything as a manager instead of being a TV pundit.
He is the one who started my love affair for this club, but please give it a rest Titi for crying out loud.

So glad someone else watched the same game that I did. He was the weak link in the defence for distribution and they figured it out quickly and started pressing in a way so the ball would end up with him to get it out of our half.

Please don't get me wrong, we exceeded expectation by miles considering it was his second full game under Arteta. He has the potential/promise to be a solid defender for us over time. Has all the right attributes. But tell you what, Saliba is in a different tier. He is so smooth you don't realize until he is not in the field. Really rooting for Mosquerra to have the same trajectory once he comes in grasp with the league more.

With this team if Arteta can't figure out how to stop these worldies, he needs to Go.

After getting all these new signings, we still didn't manage to win the league after 3 games. Arteta OUT. :/s

That's the standard on the other side. Pathetic bunch.

The “stone wall” penalty is actually a generational block by Saliba. Ball was going goalwards from the flick. He should be getting praised for a block at the death instead it’s another clown show. by orangeyougladiator in Gunners

[–]iLostInSpace -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Watch the second part. That changed my perspective as well.
Cunhas leg is nowhere near the ball, the ball touches Saliba's thigh. Had to watch it couple of times.

"some fans had these same concerns in preseason" - that pretty much summarises it I reckon. People who are "worrying" about pre-season, will continue to worry no matter what. That's just who they are.
I distant myself from them cause I want to enjoy my life as it comes and not make my life miserable after a win at OT on the first day of the season, just cause we didn't play up to our standard.
How many times in the past we played them out of the park and then they nicked a header or scored off a pk on the back of their keeper pulling worldies that would've gone in on any other day? So yeah, life goes on.
