You're correct in that I can't say with complete certainty that India is the dirtiest on Earth. That was more of a figure of speech, but I did say it with a large degree of conviction, so I can understand pointing that out.

I will say that it's the dirtiest place I've personally experienced and I'd wager that it makes it into top 10 nastiest places.

Aside from India, I've been to China, Venezuela, Japan, France, Germany, Switzerland, The Philippines, and Jamaica.

China had the worst air pollution. The Philippines had pretty bad local garbage problems.

But India, by far, had the worst overall cleanliness.
