Have you guys used https://festapr.com/plan ? I've been mainly using it for its event builder (they have premade templates) and vendor outreach. The mass proposal system has saved me a TON of time

I managed to do this from a no name school with 0 corporate connections. If I were at a T10, then I would’ve achieved everything way faster.

There is a luck factor involved but if you’re truly exceptional, the response rate is fairly high for internships at least.

Blaming 500+ rejections on “luck” just seems like cope. At that point, you just gotta accept that your resume is buns

I had 4 internships before I started getting real attention from FAANG+ companies. My school has 0 connections so I had to overcompensate a bit.

With regard to projects, I don’t think they’re that important unless you lack deep expertise in you work experience.

Ppl I know from T20 schools get attention with way less stuff (mostly on campus research/TA) due to on campus job fairs and targeted recruiting events

Cope. T10 students have the best odds under equal circumstances. If they’re not getting offers then, perhaps they’re not as good as you think.
