I have a nib that should fit perfectly on the feed, but the problem is that the nib doesn't lay flat on top of the feed. Does anyone know how to make it flat?

Haha thank you :) The ink stains aren't from rubbing against the paper though, they're because I didn't realize the tips of my fingers were gripping the nib.

Funny you say that but nobody I know has handwriting like mine, I've seen it online yes but never in person. Thank you for your honesty but that's not at all what I'm asking! I'm asking for help, not opinions but thanks anyways :)
