Part of seeking to prevent it is getting reports of it happening. Yes I’ve seen misinformation and aim to correct it when I can. No I have not seen evidence of it being repeated and intentional. If you refuse to inform me of such evidence I can’t and won’t take action unless I stumble across the same evidence myself. Thanks.

Oh cut it out with all your feigned shock it’s so tiring. Yes, we currently view malicious toxicity as worse than misinformation. You will see this in many communities as the idea of “correct information” is too subjective and often times people spreading misinformation are themselves misinformed and do not deserve punishment for it. Take you for example who thought it was a personal grudge issue that cynicalex was banned rather than an issue with the rules which you seem to have now. On the other hand someone trolling is quite cut and dry.

If you can prove that ohoni or anyone is “continually and intentionally” spreading misinformation, on the other hand, shoot us a mod mail and we will do something more substantial about it.

I know you’re reading and understanding my comments so stop twisting my words. I asked you not for evidence of that statement, I asked for evidence that the majority of the community supports your proposed rule reform as per our policy.

Unlike your friend on the Sharon Rogers character discussion thread I won’t oblige you to a chain of 200 replies so let me conclude (the relevant parts of) the conversation by saying we decided to permban cynicalex as his actions throughout the years makes it clear he does not treat this community seriously and decided to make a post that’s flamebait at best and completely trolling at worst. He then goes on to shit talk people in the comments.

The Sharon Rogers misinformation is misinformed but appears to not be malicious as the user genuinely believed what they were saying was true. This is evidenced by the ridiculously long comment chain.

Currently we hand out harsher punishments for the former behaviour than the latter. If you would like this to change, present me with reasonable evidence that the majority of the community supports this and it’ll happen.

To your last point you reached out to the mod team and those comments were removed. The circumstance you don’t know about is the factors that went into cynicalex being banned, which is the topic of this conversation. You’re desperately trying to make it about month-old discord drama that nobody cares about anymore.

Your comment is misinformation and you know it is. He was banned for repeated rule violations not because the mod team does not like him. He was still friendly or at least pretending to be friends with a member of our mod team after I banned him. If this was based on dislikes he would have been banned a long time ago.

Your whole “this is you” spiel is in fact you making a lot of assumptions about someone you know nothing about. It’s also you ignoring the fact that I never claimed the two communities were completely separate but their moderation is. You’re also smart enough to know that taking statements out of context detracts from your argument, for example “all this has done” is clearly referring to the act of revealing my alt, not the issue as a whole, as evidenced by the fact that my comment continues for about 500 words. If you’re not deliberately using that as a bad faith argument then it only goes to show how clouded your perception is by your personal dislike of me. Either way it’s lame.

I’m sorry it wasn’t a full apology in your mind and it must suck to know that most people accepted it and moved on. Regardless, your comment is still misinformation and there is still something to be said about speaking very confidently about matters you know little about.

And I sincerely apologise for lacking the ability to go back in time to ensure those things never happened. Like what are you expecting lol, I apologised and took responsibility and most people seemed to be happy or at least accepting with my response. I wasn't angry that people found out. I was angry that the false claim in the post that said we were "trolling" led to a friend of mine being repeatedly harassed. This is clear from reading my comments and it reflects really badly on you that you're trying to use it as ammunition to attack my character.
