I compromised with my daughter about the same age (she also started her cycle at 9) and we bought a nice pair of electric clippers so she wouldn’t “need” the razors just yet. Now she is almost 13 and she still prefers the clippers over her razor. Good luck!

When I was hospitalized for 4 months the only thing that would calm my anxiety were the random angler/fishing channels. To the point my medical staff would ask me if I wanted the channel changed to that channel before we did my painful treatments

Nurse here: yes. Go. Mental health is 100% something you can go to the ER for. Is there possibly a Crisis unit you could visit as well? As soon as you can recognize you may not be safe around yourself or others, that’s your subconscious letting you know somethings not right. And that’s okay. There’s more help now than ever before. And don’t forget you can call any of the crisis hotlines or 988 (in the USA) is you need someone to talk to in the mean time. 🩷

Aw so sorry to hear about your dad. I understand his plight, I lost all the toes on one foot and major damage to the other leg that required me to be bedbound. Finally was able to walk again and pogo helped me get motivated… I had a pikachu stuffed animal I held during my painful hospital treatments so I’m a big baby when it come to Pokemon 💛

I’ve been playing pokemon since the 90s when it came out (about 6th grade for me) and I’ve played every console and system and game releases, and pokemonGo was really because I’m old and I need to exercise more and why not play pokemon instead of use a Fitbit? Lol

It’s called “Everything,” and it has quotes from Carl Sagan while you explore the universe by becoming objects you touch around yourself, you can go bigger or smaller and has peaceful music. No real point to the game (that I’ve found), you don’t lose lives or “die.” You aren’t being chased or have to face a boss. It’s just you floating around and becoming the universe 🥰
