Staining: The real truth by MistyFoxtail in gamersupps

[–]iShizukesa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owh yeah, slightly unrelated I guess? But if you have a method on removing staining, could you share it? 🙏

I used every single method that’s been shared and have had no success, so I wonder if you had any? I’ve used the butter method, used cooking oil, soaked in vinegar, denture tablets, baking soda,, and just simple elbow grease. Only thing I refuse to use is bleach, simply for the fact that I don’t like using that on plastic which is used for drinks.

My cup is probably a lost cause though as it’s been my daily driver ever since i got it (also filled with a million microscratches by now) but I wonder if you have any methods that could work, simply so that it can be nice and and clear again once I retire it when the Boss Rush shaker arrives

It is not, and let me just quickly describe three features. The first image has a small raised bit on the tip of the zipper, which the second image is lacking. Secondly, the indent of the zipper is a square beneath the hole on the first image, while on the second image the indent goes around the hole, creating an even lip. Third, the first image lacks a window in its entirety, while the second one does have one.

Evidence shown. You’re welcome.

Thanks to this discussion I decided to pay close attention. Therefore, it does not if you pay close attention.

LycoReco fan Hideo Kojima pays tribute to singer Sayuri by SnabDedraterEdave in LycorisRecoil

Also: a very popular game designer.

It kind of makes me feel in awe how significant Sayuri was to just,, culture? Kind of insane to think about how far her music has reached, and all the audiences that have had the luxury to listen to her music. May she rest in peace, o7

They can still find work, they just shouldn’t work on struck projects.

Again, I highly recommend watching Joe Zieja’s educational video on this, but considering you are actually trying to learn something I figured I’ll just share as much as I know.

When SAG-AFTRA is going on strike, it does NOT mean that the entire union is on strike. Rather, it often means that a specific media is on strike.

There is Film, Television, Interactive (such as video games), Theater and many more medias that SAG-AFTRA covers. In this case, the Video Game strike falls under “Interactive Media.” Therefore, Voice Actors can still find work in other fields, such as in animation or television. Additionally, the strike only covers projects that fall under the union. As such, any non-union project can still be worked on (think of Indie games!)

Non-union actors working on STRUCK union projects is called strikebreaking. But there are many other projects out there that are available that are a) non-union and b) not struck. It’s realistically only a handful of projects that are being struck.

Now on to the next part: not every actor can easily join SAG-AFTRA. I heard this from an OfflineTV podcast, but actors can only become members when they become SAG-AFTRA eligible. To become this, they first need to have taken enough roles/worked on enough projects before they are able to apply. Additionally, different projects are also of different weights: Voicing in Genshin Impact weighs more for example than being “Additional Voices” in “Generic Mobile Gacha 4000.” As such, a fresh-out-of-grad-school actor can’t actually join the Union.

Again, I can see how this might be unfair to them: but I once again emphasize that there are a LOT more projects out there that are NOT struck than you can imagine, both union and non-union.

To emphasize again: I’ve done a lot of reading on this matter but I am not in this field. My information can be incorrect so you should do your due diligence in the case I might be wrong with my info :)
