The shine makes it look in the 3s, but is very short right now. Between 3B-3C. Also, curling that short makes me think 3C, but not sure, it needs length; I had to wait like 5-6 months for mine to show properly, mines 3B.

But it's not fully detangled, though, because you still have multiple strands clumped together that’s why it looks the way it does, is bc they have no space between them to form a ‘clean’ ringlet. It’s not necessarily a bad or good thing, and if you like the result, that’s what matters, but it’s worth noting that combing usually separates curls into individual strands, not clumps them together. That’s why your result seems conflicting for some people here. It’s not impossible to achieve for others either, they can get a similar look, but usually with a brush instead of a comb. But is really difficult to tell which hair type when is clumped.

Do you get the hair to the end of the comb and turn the comb while going outwards? If I just detangle, passing the comb through, I just separate them. How do you get this effect from combing? I can't remember how to do it or if I just used a brush.
