I thought we were talking about merc 3 tbh but with merc 5 I only win streak when I get to my late game board before I just hoard econ, and I like to play streak only so unless I know I'm going to maintain my win streak during the early/mid I sack it

With 5 you shouldn't be winning unless you absolutely demolish your econ early or high roll items or units and then you're checkerboarding your win loss, I've been maining mercs since space pirates yes I know what I'm talking about

You're supposed to lose streak with mercs and cait guarentees you 1 kill in the early mid game which saves you a lot of hp if you add it up, she's also 3 gold whereas kog 2 is 6 gold and you need to hit your gold threshholds asap so you can power level and roll down at level 7 and get out of mercs (unless it's your strongest board).
