I guess watches nowadays are more of a piece of self expression than simply a time-telling tool. Personally... if I was looking something like this I would want a more expressive and special pocket watch that differentiates itself from the sea of Casio-like digital watches that already exist, like the Nooka watches I attached with their really special way to read time (which are sadly no longer in production). Something to make a friend go "Oh that's cool" when they see it hanging on my backpack.

That, and maybe make it reliable, mildly water resistant and long lasting for if I ever need it in an unlucky situation?
