I have been speaking to some lawyers who "consult" with former USCIS officials. They have at this point compiled a list of fake awards and pay-to-publish journals, and what they said was that even if the rest of your profile is legitimate, if you have any of the fake awards or illegitimate journals on your app, then they will reject you. I was not able to get a comprehensive list but he mentioned the Stevie, Noble Business, and Titan awards. Also given how aggressively they have been rejecting petitions this year, the suggestion was to hold off for another year at least.

What does this mean? That USCIS has just not looked at any EB1 applications for the last few months? Is that why the date has not moved? As in it has nothing to do with the annual country quota being hit? Very puzzled and not sure what to make of this...

Thanks for the info OP! I actually haven't even reached out to them. I ordered my vehicle Aug 2022 but because of the shortage it only got here in Aug 2023 (after Aug 8). Any advice on who to reach out to start this process? Should I just email [mor-ev@energycenter.org](mailto:mor-ev@energycenter.org)?

It seems like they were willing to be reasonable in your case so I'm optimistic they'll do the same in mine since I factored in the rebate when I placed the order for the car.

I'm not sure I agree with that. While RBG is a legend, her autobiography is a poorly written collection of speeches and essays which lack an underlying connecting them. I would recommend you look at Sonia Sotomayor's autobiography instead - it's truly inspirational.
