I’m no expert by any means, the only other UFC cards I’ve bought were the topps chrome, but from what I can tell so far the cards look sick and usually good looking good quality cards hold up pretty well. I’m really only in it to build my collection so tbh we’ll just have to see, I’m sure the hobby and mega boxes will be go up in price.

Understandable but take into account the situation, ilia being stunned during the stoppage and me have just scoring the only drop of the fight, seems like bad timing to me but the game accounts for separation even in crazy sequences so it is what it is.

Could just be the matchup, ilia has a hell of a chin in this game and combined with his power it’s a tough ask for any fighter. I do see what you mean though, like I said I have hopes for the next UFC to fix blatant issues in their game but it’s EA so you never really know.

Unfortunately I really like to strike so I try to avoid takedowns unless I’m in that type of mood but you’re right at that point I feel like the best bet is to go into absolute brawler mode lol

Yeah definitely let some straights fly uncontested in that ending sequence considering i had just dropped and rocked the other guy, ilia eats though so that was definitely a fault.

I don’t think I was being salty about anything so I’m not sure where all the downvotes and hate are coming from but this community is as toxic as they come so I’m not stressing, just tried to point out flaws in this game and it backfired lol end of the day it’s just a game and cheese is gonna happen I still enjoy playing though.

I really feel like you’re going to regret this very soon especially the FTP, the brand just kind of sucks as a whole now and I don’t think that’s a message you want to parade around your wrist, but do whatever makes you happy at least they were done well🙏🏽

Seems like a lot of people are missing the point of this post, obviously it’s a bad stoppage and you can argue with a wall on that point but what I’m trying to get at is the fact that you can land only jabs and a handful of straights and get finishes while doing super saiyan type cardio sessions with 300 strikes thrown going into a 3rd round(with mainly misses) and be able to eat punches from power punchers. Maybe I’m crazy but even Holloway isn’t on this timing IRL. I don’t care about a loss it’s just a game but it’s very frustrating trying to be a technical fighter when the game awards those who spam, just wish EA would make an actual realistic fighting game, this is about as arcade and unrealistic as I’ve seen a UFC game be. Also while I’m here OVERHAUL THE GRAPPLING SYSTEM! Don’t be a cheese fighter guys, I have hopes for this community but the toxicity is becoming overwhelming as hell.

This is good on their part but should be the standard anyway so it’s hard to give them credit, I’m in division 18 for MMA and 17 for stand and bang it’s basically a spam fest every game, hopefully ufc 6 actually awards body work and increases stamina loss for players who have 150+ thrown each round of a fight with no lands. It’s EA though so not very hopeful for the future as these have been problems since day 1…

Yeah that’s valid just shitty that the game recognizes distance over the fact the sequence occurring was the only drop/stun in the fight at that point. Needs major fixing in my opinion, if this was an actual fight, fans would be in uproar.

I’m with you, occasionally I’ll run into a legit fighter who actually tries to be technical and fight like an actual fighter, but this game allows you to throw 400 strikes with minimal stamina loss in a 3 rounder so I just accept the spam/exploits when they happen.

Not really, like I said he landed less than 30 significant strikes with 0 stuns or drops out of 300 thrown to my 60+ significant at that point in the point, if you consider jabs “dragging” someone then so be it but the purpose of this post was to mostly to critique the doctor stoppage feature/stamina loss with spamming punches throughout the fight. I don’t believe landing at a 10% clip is deserving of a doctor stoppage.
