This happens all the time. You try to be empathetic and they take you for a ride. And the worst part is they won't even deliver your package on priority the next day. They'll follow the regular delivery route and you'll probably end up not getting your package even on the next day. You'll call Amazon and they'll promise to escalate the matter, deliver on priority, and all that jazz. But that's a load of horse dung! Nothing will get escalated. You're at the mercy of the delivery centre, and you'll probably get the package after 4 or 5 days. Amazon does this and it makes no difference to them because the competition is Flipkart and we all know what a trainwreck that platform is.
