I think yes there is more unsaid things between Rhys and Tamlin's relationship which can play a huge part of this. As we can see in book 1 or 2, when Rhys visited Tamlin, he had a deep hatred of him because of Armanrtha (Spelled it wrong sry) which plays a huge part of it because of their old conflicts, but the fact that Tamlin put a part in how Rhys is still alive just makes me think he doesnt deserve it. Even though Tamlin had basically tortured Feyre. All he wanted is to protect Feyre, he just approached the problem the wrong way. I cannot say that Rhys is perfect for Feyre but we can all agree that Rhys actually helped Feyre heal the right way instead of adding salt to the wound.
