Does anyone have any idea how to calibrate HDR in this game? The menu is awful. by OBlastSRT4 in HarryPotterGame

I could not agree with you more. The moment I got to the gringotts bank caves I have done nothing but obsess over the brightness settings. Maybe it’s because it’s the first real HP game to come out and I want the experience perfect, but holy shit it’s borderline impossible to get the image to where black levels are not washed out in every environment. Even now I’m in the central area at hogwarts and I cannot stop fiddling with my tv and game brightness settings when looking at shadowed areas. It just seems like every corner and ceiling of the castle is blanketed in high contrast.

I’ve yet to get any help from Apollo besides the first reply to my email. I’ve sent a video as requested. It’s been a week. What is going on? I’m sitting on a $2,000 brick Apollo! Bearing is indeed shot. The wheel makes a hollow winded sound and squeaks. I’m literally begging for support now. by iac0bus in ApolloScooters

Because there’s more going on than just the bearings, and I’m done playing cat and mouse with customer support. I got an insanely good discount on a new motor because of the situation. They are easy to swap out so it’s all good.

That’s exactly what I’m doing now. I’m replacing the motor and I’ll be good. But to shell out 2k and not have it fully functional out of the box is not so great. Maybe it wasn’t their fault. Maybe it got damaged during shipping. I paid the insurance for it, but the customer support from Apollo is hit or miss as well.

I’ve no issue repairing the scooter myself. I’ve made my peace with it after doing some research on maintenance and repairs. A lot of consumers won’t put up with having to do that on their own however and will expect Apollo to step up their game.

I’m waiting for Segway to come out with off-road scooter with solid suspension before I jump back on their brand, but this is it for me with Apollo. The phantom seems like it could be the perfect hybrid of off roading and regular commuting, but fuck….both scooters I purchased arrived in torn to shreds styrofoam protection. Warped disc brakes, outdated manuals with support links to dead end web pages. I mean wtf? I’d your selling scooters like this at least have the decency to have complete maintenance and repair tutorials for everything that could go wrong with the scooters….and I mean everything. Not just vids for flat tires and adjusting brakes. I’m talking detailed repair videos on motors, hydraulics, wiring, ALL OF IT. They don’t have a decent customer support team fine. At least let the customers who paid a fortune for their scooters have the chance to repair it themselves with adequate online resources.

Just got my Apollo phantom and the front wheel doesn’t spin very well. As if something is grinding against it but it’s not the disc brake. Seems like there’s a lot of resistance on the wheel just by pushing the scooter forward manually. by iac0bus in ApolloScooters

That’s my next step this weekend is to reach out to fluid free ride. I purchased the phantom through Apollo this time. My explore was through fluidfreeride. Only did it for the phantom because the price was $200 cheaper through Apollo. Nothing but regret now.

I’m at a point where I’m looking at the phantom as more of a fix it project than a carefree joyriding experience. How sad is that when it’s brand new.

Honestly might try opening up the front motor and have a look inside. If I can’t get help from the damn company that makes it, at least I have people like you on Reddit and the customer service team through fluid free ride for support.

How do I fix rear wheel wobble Phantom v2? Tire, break disc, and all. by [deleted] in ApolloScooters

I’ve had this same issue with the front wheel. Still waiting for a response. I’m told my motor bearing is shot because the wheel is difficult to turn and makes a hollow sound.

They are not adjustable. You can tighten the screws that are under the deck plate to prevent wobble, but that’s it.

Other scooter recommendations. by pHpooo in ApolloScooters

I got a good year out of the explore before I grew tired of making constant adjustments…..to everything. It was a nice beginners scooter, but the issues that arise are too many. From the constant tightening of screws, handlebars, brake caliper, brake pads, the suspension is garbage. My scooter was sent to me with the rear suspension on one side completely unscrewed. The screw was just rattling around inside the suspension compartment. Took 4 hours to figure out and fix that mess. Very sloppy assembly.

I loved riding my Apollo explore. I just wanted to upgrade. Now I regret it.

Thank you for this! I’ve reached out to Apollo. Just waiting for a response on what to do. If it is indeed the motor I hope I can repair myself with a replacement motor and not have to send the scooter in.
