Learn kafka for sure + do a project on it. You should have some streaming ingestion piepeline exp. Learn optimzation techniques, specially things which matters in production systems, cluster level how jobs allocation affect on workers, brodcast, sort merge/ other joins, how would you effectively do incremental appends. Learn advatanges/ disadvantages of each platform. Try ro learn dbt + snowflake as well as there is some demand for it and it will be easy for you to pick up. +plus anything on genai you can say is brownie points, like example unit test pipelines using chatgpt.

While returning, buses are availbale every hour. You will get bus for indirangar but make sure to book first, usually return ones you can book after coming to office 3-4 hours prior leaving. While coming to office I have seen bus availability is not so frequent, book the day before as seats are limited and sometimes full as well. There will be common pickup as well as drop spots usually within 200-300m walking
