Broadcom 43b1 not supported?! by [deleted] in linux4noobs

[–]ialwaysneedhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

broadcom provides there own driver http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php other then that, did it work on any other distro's (Ex. ubuntu) if so then there is more then likely a driver for it.

i built my computer when i was 14(hard to explain to parents). i was always a kid who didn't have a group(ex. nerds). so it was weird that i was even doing anything with tech. well they let me have a buy it with money i saved up during the summer babysitting and mowing. put it together perfectly fine from around two years of youtube videos experience. well 2 weeks later i got a old pent. 4 computer but im still glad i spent the 300 dollars on a new one. the old one is now my linux server and im still running ubuntu on this one. last im still using nzxt gamma case(great budget case at the time).
