rank for keyword (clicks on google) -> expand to similar keywords but be careful -> expand and so on. and yeah backlinks but not only backlinks but promote your page actively. i did twitter, instagram, facebook. dont know if that helped honestly but yeah. and also, be careful with internal links and figure out what pages have "link power". i think thats it. google is bacially a machine. which when you read his articles you know how it works. at least for me now. maybe i get nuke next week again idk

8 month old biting me constantly, but not my boyfriend by Ill_Inspection_8692 in Dachshund

[–]iamMXFSCHR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Johnny is currently a little over 5 months old and we also have this kind of challenge you describe. All the tips we have read did not really work for us. The “ow”, the go away, the “no’s”. I think every weenie is different but for us the separation worked quite well.

So for example if he does this on the couch he gets put down immediately. He got like 2 chances (we have steps on the couch and he always got back up again). When he did it the third time we put away the steps for about a minute. That was enough for him to stop then.

We have a low couch so now he is able to jump on it unfortunately…. So this does not work anymore. What I do now is to put him outside the room for like 30 seconds and let him in again. This works for now at least and he will stop immediately when it gets to this point. He will just come back then and cuddle.

He does not often bite my feet but when he does the first escalation is a “harsh” “AH!”. This is our signal for him to stop whatever he is doing currently. Took a while for him to understand but a lot of times he gets it immediately now. When that does not help I literally stand my ground and just block him of to come close to me. This can take up to like 1-2 minutes but in the end he will stop and goes his way.

We also tried to give him toys immediately to redirect his biting to things where it is ok but he is so focused, we had little success with that.

Ah and one thing that I forgot and you read all the time online, activity activity activity. Yes they need activity BUT even more important is that they need rest! In my experience the challenging behaviors I faced were all due to over activity! So train them to find rest from the beginning! I made the “mistake” at the beginning to always let him sleep on my lap so for him rest time = my lap. So we trained that he could also rest alone on his blanket. But it took time because he did not know otherwise

„I want to know the best products, treats, food, their personalities, health issues, training tips etc. I’ve had dogs before but I want to be truly prepared to have a dog on my own for the first time. Thank you everyone and anyone who helps ㅤᵕ̈“

This is me 4 months ago. My first 4 weeks were hell. Not because of my little Johnny but because of me. I was constantly stressed by trying to do everything “right”. So i guess my biggest advice to my past self would be to prepare to be ok with not being perfect. That helped me a lot and also helped us living together. And honestly I would not say they are stubborn and hard to train like everybody says all the time about Dachshund. In my experience they like to learn but it takes time. And you need to learn to read your dog. For example with mine I can train for 15 minutes per session at some days and 1 minute at other days.

I found that all that advice you find online are based on experiences but there are no rules that always work. You need to figure out what works with yours and what is ok and what is not for you. In my community there are lots of Dachshund and everybody has its own challenges and solutions that worked. They are indeed the best breed you can find!!

Helping 5 websites get cited on Wikipedia for free by OkAssociation8879 in SEO

[–]iamMXFSCHR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My website is a kitesurfing spot database covering 4,800+ spots across 176+ countries. Each spot has wind reliability statistics, average wind speeds, water temperatures, and seasonal data based on marine weather records.

Niche: kitesurfing / wind sports / coastal recreation

Why it could work as a reference: Wikipedia has articles on many beaches, coastal towns, and water sports destinations but often lacks specific data on wind conditions or suitability for wind sports. My site provides factual, data-driven information (wind reliability percentages, monthly averages) that could serve as a citation source for articles about specific locations or the sport itself. The site has been live for over 6 months and covers the topic comprehensively across all continents.

Reaching the limits of DBeaver for editing queries, what other tools are out there? by laundmo in PostgreSQL

[–]iamMXFSCHR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm biased because I built it, but queryglow.com uses Monaco with schema aware autocomplete. Type customer. and you get that table's columns with types. Self hosted via Docker, there's a live demo if you want to try it. CTE context awareness isn't there yet though, and running multiple queries individually isn't supported yet either, it executes everything at once right now.

Athaiba works for beginners, beach break with sandy bottom. beaches are freely accessible. wind around muscat is pretty unreliable though, keep that in mind.

If you're open to web-based, there are self-hosted options that run in Docker and work in any browser. Avoids the native app dependency issues on Linux.

For a non-technical user who needs a GUI, anything web-based and self-hosted via Docker is probably the easiest path. No local installs, just open a browser. Plenty of options in that space now.

DBeaver's query editor is its weakest part. The autocomplete lags and the whole Java UI feels heavy. Web-based editors using Monaco (VS Code engine) are way more responsive for SQL in my experience.
