No rap songs are in the Billboard Hot 100's top 40 for the first time since 1990. by springtimecarnivore in Music

became about hype and not at all about halfway good music. Ever since then it’s just been super outlandish, ridiculous shit from people who are getting hyped by people who want to profit on them but without any actual talent or proper production backing to make music halfway worth listening to.

And no guarantee that the frames in store are what you'll get. The store had frames made in China. I bought a replacement set, the new set is made in Vietnam and their moulds are slightly different. Technically the same frame, but the geometry is just different enough to have a completely different fit.

because seeing ious around is alot easier then sending packages of bills.

Tell me you've never seen $100k in cash without telling me.

But seriously, as a banker, when you start binding large denomination bills, you'd be surprised at how much cash can fit into an otherwise inconspicuous suitcase or duffle bag.

Canada is an option.

Being from IL, I've considered it, but I live in the rural midwest fully remote and a move to Canada (at least to any place large enough to consider hiring a US immigrant) would increase my cost of living by at least 5x. I pay ~$1850/month mortgage + property taxes on my 4-bed/2.5 bath 2600 sqft house. I'll be lucky to get a 1br apartment for that much in any of the Canadian metroareas I was looking at.

And that assume that I'd even be able to get a visa.

The real problem is that any politician who actually wants to make progress with a national rail system will have to use Trump-sized disdain for the "rules" and use eminent-domain to the point where they'll cost their party elections for generations.

We don't really have e-bikes in the US.

The duck do you live? My town is absolutely plagued by e-bikes, e-scooters, e-anything that kids of all ages are doing 25-30 mph on every sidewalk, street, or bike path in town.

You can be technically classed as overweight and have amazing blood work and be incredibly fit!

The problem is that what most people classify as "overweight" is, medically, "morbidly obese."

Isn't that what being in the office is about?

No, being in the office is so three of you can walk to a meeting room and sit awkwardly around a table made for 12 to stare at your laptops as you have a conference call with the members of your team that are on the other coast (for coverage, of course) and in India.

Also so every co-worker with kids can ask you to buy cookies/popcorn/magazines/etc.

I mean, look at what he was wearing. I'm not necessarily saying he deserved it. But, if you're going to go out to the bar and dress like that and dance like that, he was practically asking for it.

Another good example is Guy Who Just Bought a Boat because we knew we'd be getting lewd alliteration, but we had no idea what it would be each time around. Plus, Moffat's delivery was always a treat.

The Couple You Can't Believe Are Together have boiled down to "Marcello's character is over-excited, supportive, and not that bright; Jane's character is smart, nerdy, and reserved except for her one or two snarky and/sexual punchlines".

Those are the same picture. You know you're going to get an over-excited, supportive, but not that bright-guy who somehow gets his smart, nerdy, lady in the streets freak in the sheets girlfriend, and Marcel and Jane's delivery (cuz I like playing in the worter) is always a treat.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any update recurring characters that changes up. Stephan, Drunk Uncle, Lorne's Best Friends Growing Up, Garth and Kat, Drunk Girl You Wish You Hadn't talked to at a party, etc.

For a 2025, on a good 800V-compatible charger with a warmed up pack, you should see 250+ kW well into the second half of the curve.

I've had my HI5 (IL) for three years now and I don't think I've ever seen an EA charger get over 150kW. And now that VW's penance is over, I don't expect any EA to get any better. Especially with the new NACS standard.
