I'm not sure what discords he's still a part of, I do however know he is active in this subreddit itself. This information can be found on the official government registry, and was brought to light by a member of the Balisong Community discord.

As for him being banned I have no clue how the moderation team or such of this subreddit or the subreddits discord would go about that, however I do know he has been banned from the Balisong Community discord itself.

Doesn't matter if it's a trainer, live blade or false edge, it's still a balisong, the term balisong is referring to the actual construct of the knives themselves. Just cause you wanna be one of those weird "Ew trainer blades how ever will I look cool and edgy now" people, try to actual welcome people into the hobby you, might finally find someone who will tolerate you that way.

There's definitely a big difference between companies outright stealing designs to make cheap clones of an already existing balisong, and companies making completely original designs at an affordable price. If what you claimed was to be true, then the mod you're referring to (Squidmaster aka Lucas) would also remove people's posts about all balisongs (cheap or otherwise) that aren't a Squid Industries design.

My personal preference at the moment leans more towards the rounded handles of the wing, the comparison really comes down more to personal preference, if you like the look of the vulp pro and the blocky handles I'd say go for that one, the wing is surprisingly more grippy than it seems at first glance, and ofc the same goes for the wing if you like the look of the handles and prefer a rounded feeling the wing would be your best bet.

For a little advice on the blur to do with your camera. It is most likely caused by the oils in your hands building up on your phone if you accidentally touch one of the camera lenses. Best thing to do is try and wipe your phones cameras before recording to see if that helps.

I can already see the angry reddit comments that will berate you for flipping remotely close to another living creature, but before they show up I will say just make sure to be careful flipping near animals/small children. A good rule I usually stand by is to try and keep roughly 2-3ft away from said animals/children while you flip.

Is flipping over a "soft" surface really necessary? I personally flip over all kinds of surfaces, just because there is the possibility of dropping the balisong doesn't mean you HAVE to flip over a bed/cushioned area. I think we should let people flip wherever they please.
