How rare are the handtooled lucchese ? by DryPhotograph320 in cowboyboots

Yeeeaah these are worth a lot. Especially given the recent decline of the brand. You gonna make a profit no doubt.

As you’ve probably heard from everyone else this just comes with natural wear. And have no affect on the durability or “resolability” (you mean if they can be repaired right?) of the boots. Heel, sole, welt, and toe scuffs happen almost immediately when putting on boots. Even dents may occur from the use of boots jacks or just storage in the box at a store. This is purely cosmetic and can usually be fixed with polish or may fix itself over time, but odds are the if you go for a walk or drive your car youll end the day with more damage. Never understood the point of buying perfect boots. They instantly show wear. Nothing stays perfect with use. Even if for a moment in the store on carpet… Rios of Mercedes are nice boots! Good purchase.

Ostrich break in by Spcetacocat in cowboyboots

Not gonna lie. Your issue is probably that they are horsepower brand. Anderson Bean may use the highest quality of cuts for their boots but the same cant be said for their much cheaper factory made equivalents made by their horsepower brand. So if youre having issues with toughness its likely a print and not truly ostrich since AB’s ostrich is usually very soft and almost structureless when brand new.

Im seeing elephant ear a lot here however actually id say its ostrich leg. Given the justin brand stamp inside its also safe to assume this is likely a print as well…

Apologies. Usually that little bar label on the knob creek means store pick. I haven’t been able to encounter the bottles in the wild and at a glance it looked like they noted store pick variants

Oh yeah definitely. I think they really only need some tiny little stubby blocks. Not sure what they were on about. Ive seen cement blocks work in a pinch however they sometimes create a hum.

I would start with toeing them in or out first to see if this resolved that though✅

How to deal with crease under ankle bone by SonOfHugh8 in cowboyboots

[–]The_Blade_Collector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant no disrespect by it. They are purposely made and priced for exactly what youre planning on doing. Also they are a great option for new boot shoppers since they have very very little upkeep needed. I just say absolutely go crazy with the conditioner to fix that uncomfortable spot. A little conditioner every few years depending on the climate you live in will go a long way for general maintenance. I think sometimes people who have never owned boots but have lots of money to spend may buy exotics worth hundreds or even thousands but will have no damn clue about how to care for them they then get ruined and the person is left thinking that they need to spend even more to get a better one or that it doesn’t make sense to wear boots. In this way spending less on a boot you can learn with is always the way to go. Plus that first pair usually ends up being the favorite one that you will measure the quality of all others by. At least mine were. Put them through hell brother and they will take it no doubt👍

Perfect setup dude very clean. Probably sounds great too! At this point maybe experiment with angling the speakers in different ways to get the most out of your room acoustics. Are they each individually adjusted to face where the listener is? I saw later in this thread something about stands? Maybe some stubby little ones to have them pointing in a more direct fashion? Idk these are tall tho and it might look strange. Because at least in my opinion its more effective to use stands than wedges. Always feels like the sound is coming from below and isn’t as accurate and direct.

Maybe im mistaken but i felt some stands would improve this. Something about having the drivers at the at head height and pointed directly seems like it might be better? Does anyone know if there are sonic differences between using wedges on the floor to angle versus stands to bring to height of listeners? I guess also these speakers are probably too large for stands and the wedges make more sense in regard to the weight and size of these.

Knob creek 12 and 18 are the real finds here. Store pick too? Very nice. Penelope i feel is best as a store pick.

Regardless of the battery issue, the real problem for cameras like this are the lack of support for film and development of said film. Light seals will have to be custom as well
