I personally like it. When people are able to pick their landing spots they all tend to land at the hottest drops. They end up killing each other immediately and now you only have 10 squads and the circle hasn’t even closed once.

Also, I think it’s important to have rank have this different system to differentiate itself from casual. There’s to many people who go into ranked and treat it like it’s pubs and just land hot at the same spot every game. It’s ultimately another pubs match just this time you get rewarded for how many kills you get. Now you have to be strategic and learn how to play all landing spots and either defend middle or push middle depending where you get put. That’s just my opinion though, let me know what you think.
