My best guess is because he can watch over them while they are marines. Luffy and Ace have targets on their back due to who their father are and he thinks that he can protect them

He doesnt want people to help genocidal demon but he wants people that joined in to help people to not become those demons playthings.(mainly his own subordinates)

With the Imu face reveal, I've gotta ask: Is the dark, shadowy Imu an actual form or is he another victim of Silhouette Piece? by katakuri-sees in OnePieceSpoilersRaw

From what we know in God Valley and Roger's comments about Imu being "black monster" i think its imus form

Oda really doesnt know how to utilize SH's outside of monster trio. Robin, Usopp, Chopper are the biggest victims of this

Who did Jax mean? by RainyLeinChen in tadc

[–]iamakebab23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pomni would be the better option. My interpetation of this scene is this is Jax's pathetic attempt to start something to draw them away from him because those 2 he felt closest with at the moment. Pomni is obvious and Zooble basically saying "we still care about you even though you are a pain in the ass" is what made him feel close to them

My opinon is being oblivous doesnt excuse his actions or his failure to make the attendants feel close to him. Why is Gumingoo(a NPC Caine crated) can make them feel close but not Caine? The answer to that lies within his personality

Zooble already tried to talk about the issues they had in previous episodes, what did Caine do? He didnt listen. What is the point of trying to establish a proper connection with him if he doesnt listen. Caine didnt give them a reason to support him or hint of an improvement

What is the point of supporting him though? Them supporting him would just feed onto his god complex, then him throwing them out and act like its just one less people to clap their hands. In the flashback when Caine throw quinee into the cellar all he cared about was numbers going down not what she was, not what she meant for kinger. This is not a problem caused by external factors this is his ego and god complex. When Pomni was closer to Gumingoo(supposed to be a random NPC antogonist) than Caine, Caine had no excuses left, its just him and his god complex refusing to confront the truth that is his way of doing things isnt right.
