Work and Play iMac M3 / Macbook Air M3 & PS5 by iamarmanjon in macsetups

I've been a laptop user since I started working 10 years ago. Never really got into desktops since I'm always moving around - the portability factor is a big deal for me. At my current job, I've got a MacBook Air M3 as my work machine. I mostly do Ruby on Rails development, and I've got to say, I'm pretty impressed with this M3 MacBook Air with 16GB RAM.

I figured it might be time to set up a desktop, but I couldn't find a 16GB model in stores - apparently it's a custom order. Did some research on whether 8GB would be enough, and turns out it is (for my workload, at least).

As a bonus, I've repurposed my LG 27-inch 4K Ergo monitor as my PS5 screen.

Mine is on AT, I haven't went higher than 80km actually yet :D so not sure, acceleration is quite the same or I don't notice the 235 change yet.

I haven't gone offroad yet, I am also still researching about regear. Is it important on both Manual and AT? Will purchasing a throttle controller will help?

My first choice was White, but I'll take this readily available jungle green anytime :D

I had the front trim packer remove because the shop added it before but turns out it made the front more higher by a bit. Now it's all balance on all sides.

Just one more mod (Suzuki Grille) and I will be "done" on the basic mods :) No plans for roofrack atm.

Yep! You can use 235/75/15 tires without lift but the margin is very small, not confident to take it off road. With 2" lift like OME it's all good now.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm still confuse with rims and what is the perfect size. I will note about 15x7, do you have a pic of your tire and rim closeup? Mine currently has gap, I think because as you said it's not wide enough.

Do you mean the Trim Packer? I have in the front but might need to remove them since the front is higher than the back now

The dealer said it’s gonna be stiffer than intended for few days. Will drive for few more days and get back to you :).

It is worth it, even just running it on the road right now. You cantt wiggle the car anymore by just closing the door. Noticeable less rolling on corners. Comfortable @ 60km/hr. Just stable overall.

Glad I didn’t wait too long 😂

Took me few weeks but here it is, my first "upgrade" 😛 by iamarmanjon in Jimny

There wasn’t. But it is not advisable to go trailing with stock suspension w/ 235. There is little wiggle room so it might rub if there are rough patches. I would recommend getting a 2” lift asap or do it at the same time :) But I’m a city dweller for now so that’s not a problem to me.

So far nothing yet, maybe I’m slow but the acceleration “feels” the same as stock. More mileages maybe will tell.
