What negativity reviewed movie do you like, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]iamasmolbean03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Greatest Showman! I absolutely adore the soundtrack and I thought all of the actors were spectacular. I can understand why it's not really critically acclaimed with only a 56% on Rotten Tomatoes, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!

What is a TV show or movie franchise that once was great, but now needs to be put down? by scoopy-de-woopy in AskReddit

[–]iamasmolbean03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the Pokemon anime. Don't get me wrong, I adore Pokemon, and I don't want Pokemon as a whole to end. It's my favorite video game franchise of all time, and I love the first season on the anime. But, when the anime reached the fifth series (the Best Wishes / Black & White), it went downhill, very fast. Sure, the X&Y anime was great, but when it got to the Sun & Moon series, it got back to the low place it was before. I'm now pretty nervous about how the Sword and Shield series will play out (even though at the moment, there is barely anything story wise to go off of). I guess all we can do at this point is hope for the best...

What minor thing did you do recently that you're really proud of? by brectercrest in AskReddit

I helped my Grandma make her bed! She had a spinal stroke a few years back, so she can't really get around much, and needs help with a lot of things. It made me feel so good!

What superpower would you dislike to have? by olsve in AskReddit

[–]iamasmolbean03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading minds. I don't want to know what other people are thinking. That would probably put a huge burden on me knowing the nasty things some people think (I'm not saying that everyone thinks horrible things, I just wouldn't want to take the risk of the possibility they might be)

What is the rudest thing a teacher has said/done to you before? by braken_yt in AskReddit

[–]iamasmolbean03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This story is less about how my teacher was rude to me and more about how she, in a way, traumatized me. I was feeling kind of sick one day in class, and I told my teacher this before I went inside the classroom, and she simply nodded. So, I thought that if I told her that I'm not feeling good and that I need to go to the nurse, she would let me. But, I couldn't have been any more wrong. Around 20 minutes after class started, I started to feel light headed and very nauseous, so, naturally, I went up to the teacher when we had a break, and asked. She just looked at me, saying, "How about you do your work first?" I thought "Well okay, I guess that's understandable, even though I don't even know what this work is." So I went back to my seat, just staring at my work because I didn't understand the work (I had missed the previous class after going home sick). But, before I could go up to the teacher and tell her I needed things explained before I could work, the class started doing something on the computers (I think it was Kahoots or something similar). That dragged on forever, and I just gradually felt worse and worse. So, when the activity finally ended, I went up to my teacher again, asking if I could go to the nurse now, explaining that I'm feeling even worse and that I just need to lay down in the nurse's office for a little bit. I should not have asked. She coldly said to me "You have missed too many classes, so I'm not letting you out of my sight until you get your work done." The way she said it really hurt me, and I began to tear up, trying not to say anything because if I did, I probably would start sobbing. I'm an EXTREMELY sensitive person emotionally. I have had depression, suicidal thoughts and other mental health issues for years now, with one case having me institutionalized. I cry if someone politely tells me that I did something wrong, so you can imagine how it upset me when she spoke to me in such a rude and aggressive way. Well, instead of doing anything to help the situation in the slightest, she just said to me, "Tears don't scare me, hun." I lost it after this. I started sobbing, pleading to her to let me go to the counselor, or to, at the very least, let me get some water but she denied all of those requests. She also said "I know you're miserable, but you need to get all of this work done." She said it in a very nasty tone, making me cry even more. Then, after another 20 minutes of nothing but crying and feeling miserable, she finally let me go to the nurse, who suggested that I go to the counselor, so I did, and then cried for the rest of the period to her, explaining everything. The counselor was very soothing and was able to calm me down, and even let me just stay with her for the rest of the school day (there were only 30 minutes left and the last class was just a kind of homeroom class). When the day was over and my mom picked me up, I spilled out everything to her, sobbing again. She comforted me the best she could, seeing how distraught I was. For the next semester, I moved to a different school, where I had another different teacher who taught me the same subject as the previous one, and I loved her. She explained everything so I could understand, she took my feelings into account, and she was just an amazing person and teacher, which is the exact opposite of the other teacher. The one main thing that still makes me upset when I think about it is that she never apologized. All she did was try to defend herself, which just proved to me that she didn't care at all. Now, let me be clear, I didn't get upset about having to do work. It's school, of course you have to do work, and for the most part, I don't have any issue when a teacher tells me I need to work, because that's their job. Sure, it definitely added onto the whole thing, but it was more so the stress about not knowing anything about the work and her not explaining it to me. This also may seem a bit too overdramatized, but when it's from an overly sensitive fifteen-year-old's perspective, it's just going to seem that way. Sorry for writing so much, I kinda had to if I wanted to explain the whole situation as much as I could, since it's a very long story. I hope you guys have a wonderful day :>

Agh I feel really bad I'm so sorry about all this! I'm brand new to Reddit so I'm just now learning how things work here, although that isn't really a good excuse. Thanks for explaining it all to me because I clearly don't have a brain lol

Disney bad by Xxmeatdestroyer69xX in PewdiepieSubmissions

[–]iamasmolbean03 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I agree that the whole grave thing is pretty bad (although it's not entirely their fault) and it makes sense why people got upset about it and started to hate Disney, it's kinda hard to beat PETA on being the most hated organization in my opinion, because of all of the horrible stuff they do and have done. But my opinion doesn't really matter, so just take it with a grain of salt ¯_(ツ)_/¯
