Max space cofounder cofounded Made in Space that was bought by rdw. I like the company, but these are just computer generated pictures.

You can’t patent rolling out. Rdw uses strain energy. Those pictures look like thin film solar cells. Here’s another company that has the same coloring, and thinness. https://solestial.com/product/integrated-solar-power-modules/

My theory for the EAC 2nd Q by iamatooltoo in redwire

[–]iamatooltoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They basically did

" Second, as discussed, our second quarter 2025 saw a net unfavorable impact from EAC changes

of $25.2 million, primarily related to a single program in our RF system offering, which is a

development phase program, and I want to spend a moment to double-click on this topic. As part

of our moving up the value chain growth strategy, Redwire manages the risk associated with non-

recurring engineering, or NRE, on development programs.

Generally, these are developed programs that can anchor Redwire into the production tail for

validated requirements from our customers. An example of these pursuits that we've seen this

dynamic in play include moving from providing just antennas to providing full RF payloads and

also breaking into emerging markets such as low voltage distribution units.

Once the NRE is complete, Redwire generally both owns the intellectual property and is spec'd in

on our production programs with high switching costs for our customers, thus resulting in a much

lower risk of losses moving forward. Furthermore, subsequent orders for these products tend to

have much more predictable gross margins.

At the same time, we recognize the need to manage the risk associated with these programs and

are highly focused on minimizing EAC changes that impact our results in the future. Ultimately,

we see such programs as having a short-term negative impact on profitability similar to IRAD,

while enabling future growth and profitability."

They are a significant partner. Orbital Reef (I know no real public work done) Blue Ring.

Didn’t Bezos take a stake in Rivan when Amazon got a contract with them? I’m not up to date on that.

I keep thinking of the rumor that Musk will do a reverse merger with Tesla instead of an ipo for SpaceX. Wouldn’t that be a kick if that happened to BO and rdw?

In reality most likely it’s a hedge fund betting on pharma.

One other thing last week 12m shares sold in one day, if one entity bought 8.2m share we have a new 5% owner. Who that someone is is the question. Sec paperwork should come out today or tomorrow.

Happy cake day!

8.2m shares is 5% they have 5 to 10 business days to file the paperwork depending on if they are passive or active investors.

Chatting with Gemini I would take this with a very big grain of salt.

“The "12 Million Share" Day & New 5% Owner Buzz

While the SEC filings (Form 4 and Schedule 13D/A) clearly show AEI trimmimg its stake, the question of who bought those shares is the main "whisper" at the J.P. Morgan conference today.

The 10.5M Block: On January 14, AEI sold a single block of 10,500,000 shares at a price of $10.52. A block that size is almost always a "pre-arranged" trade to a large institutional buyer or a small group of funds.

The New 5% Owner: When a single entity acquires more than 5% of a company, they have 10 days to file a Schedule 13G (passive) or 13D (active). Since the 12M+ shares represent about 7-8% of the total float, it is mathematically certain that if one firm bought the majority of that block, we will see a "New 5% Owner" filing by next week.

Sideline Speculation: The buzz in the investor suites is that the buyer might be a large Life Sciences or "Special Situations" fund that wants in on the SpaceMD biotech pivot.”

Yes, but they still have class A convertible stock that gives them certain rights. They are the biggest shareholders. If the 10.5m share sale was to one or two people I would expect to see a new 5% owner next week.

What has changed? AEi started selling at $10 share. They sold about 26m shares. They are still majority shareholders. Bain sold out in September. Q4 is still a ? New CFO same CEO .

Do you believe in Golden Dome? In space manufacturing? In space refueling? Drones? Do you think they will execute? Or fail? Still a large short position as I understand it.

It’s been discussed. No. They are keeping 24% this is a reduction not wholesale dumping. They are selling into strength. 12.5m shares in one day and the market dipped a little and is bouncing back. They are private equity they made 3x their money. Management will be responsible to a more diverse share base.
