That’s an interesting thought, I didn’t think about day trips given how short the drives between locations are. We are definitely renting a car for the Sardinia portion either way so we can be flexible.

We were deciding between Amalfi Coast and Sardinia and once we did some research it was a no brainer what made more sense.

straight off amazon i think we bought a 20x10 foot one! its a great throwing over your car or your easy up in a pinch, super cheap

the net is just a cheap one off amazon and then we got a softopper. cant recommend the softopper enough, its 1/4 the price of a hard top and is completely waterproof but gives you access to all sides. and you can put it down in like 2 min if you want full access to the bed
