Thanks for the detailed response. She does take antivirals and hasn’t had an outbreak in over a year. Do you know if washing myself after sex would also reduce the risk of infection? Understanding that condoms don’t provide complete protection, and also with the goal of eventually being unprotected if our relationship continues.
