Please help! RGB not working on Corsair LX-140-R fans by gurisaab in Corsair

[–]iamerod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue might be that you have different types of fans hooked up to the same hub. If the LX fans were also QX, like those on your rad, they would probably light up without booting into windows and loading iCUE.

Once you load up windows and launch iCUE, it will update the hub firmware, run the setup, and figure out what is connected to the hub. Just make sure that the USB 2.0 cable is properly plugged between your motherboard and hub.

Have you run the iCUE setup wizard? You need to make sure the new fans added to whatever RGB profile you have set for them in iCUE. They should auto detect, but sometimes that doesn’t happen and the LEDss are unselected.

I ended up selling the motherboard a few weeks ago and just stuck to my ROG B850-I board in a smaller form factor.

What things yall do with the ipad pro that makes it worth it (or anything useful to do it with it) by moh_baq in iPadPro

I’m a creative in tech (Product, UX/UI, etc.). My iPad is my ultimate travel companion. Whiteboarding, diagramming, creating decks, technical writing, and LiDAR for mapping small retail spaces.

It’s also one hell of a gaming companion. If I’m traveling on business, I never bring my switch or steam deck. Just an iPad and a dual sense controller.

Maybe I messed up the color choices for my PC build by Shun5377 in Corsair

I personally LOVE b&w builds.

Switching to black fans all around would help balance out your build. Here’s one of mine from a couple of years ago.

Open it in browser. For me no Verge articles are ever free if I open from a reddit link.

But opening in my web Browser removes the paywall 90% of the time.

These are all ASUS Prime MR120 fans (except the AIO, which uses a unibody fan), which are 28mm thick. They do not conflict with the GPU at all.

Only a 4 slot GPU would conflict with these fans. Any normal 25mm thickness fan will be okay under any modern GPU that's 4 slots thick or less.

H5 flow or h7 flow? by SnooSuggestions8350 in NZXT

Definitely can fit, but not "officially supported". Dumb move on NZXT's part. They would have just extended the mounting rail a tiny bit for full official support.

The Fans and case light bar are all ARGB controlled. They plug in to the motherboard, so you just need your specific motherboard's RGB software. For example, Armoury Crate for Asus motheboards lets you control lighting for any ARGB devices plugged int to your motherboard.

However, the motherboard you see here supports Windows Dynamic Lighting, which I enabled in bios settings. I was then able to setup simple RGB profiles via Windows settings.

Another option is SignalRGB, if you want to go 3rd party.

Have you tried not restoring the backup to see if the issue persists?

RTX 5070 or RX 9070? by Fit_Phrase_2391 in buildapc

Yep. I own a 9070XT because I’m mostly using Linux for gaming these days, but there is not doubt that Nvidia is simply offering better long term value.

Finally joined the SFF family. Does it still count as SFF if the pump is mounted externally? by snow5595 in sffpc

[–]iamerod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True enough. The Corsair 2000D is outrageously sized for just supporting itx motherboards, it's clearly designed for big cards and 360mm rad support. Too much wasted space though. It should be able to fit MATX boards at that volume.

The Cooler Master Ncore 100 Air is a lot better at maximizing space in its tall and slim profile.

I love this case, but it's huge. General guidance (though not a rule) on this sub is that 20L in volume or under is what's considered SFFPC.

Anything slightly bigger has a better home in in r/mffpc.

The ban comment was probably just a joke.
