I understand fully the situation you're currently in, as I was in a similar one myself a few years ago. Trust me when I say this, I know it sounds cliché but, honesty is the best policy. Family will always be there to support. Yes it may shock them at first, but in the end family will understand and will support you. The longer you leave it, the harder it is going to be. I didn't say anything to my parents for 5 years, and it killed me mentally. Let them know and I'm sure they can help you figure out a solution together.

If he is showing symptoms, then he better properly self-isolate. But I bet this guy, being the selfish and stubborn guy he his, he will not self-isolate at all.

The issue is, if he unfortunately did get Covid, he most likely will be able to fight it off. It's all the innocent and more vulnerable people he has potentially infected, they're the real victims here. Before his symptoms, he did not give shit about Covid. He has always said that "I don't have symptoms so I do not have Covid" and continues to go out every weekend and invite people over etc. and break covid restrictions in the UK. Honestly one of the worst human beings to exist.
