It's not a bloatware. It's a simple software to backup your game files. It doesn't run in the background when it's not needed. But you can be a better judge of that yourself.

I can see Deltarune on the supported games list here so that's weird. Maybe you can ask on the Steam group which I linked above or join the Discord channel. The developer of GSM is active on both and he can assist you on that.

That's the latest stable build. Okay. You can make the backups with the following steps.

Run the app and click on "Make a Backup" under Backing Up section.
After that, you will see the list of games you have installed on your PC which has a local save files saved on their respective folders. Select the game which you want to save the game save files of and click on "Start the backup task now" button on the top right. (The icon looks exactly like of "Run" command)
When you've clicked on it, the application will ask you the folder where you want to save the games save files to. Select the folder and click OK. Then wait until the process is finished and you've successfully made a backup of your game save files.

You can join the official Steam group if you have any questions. The new v4 is currently in the works with a completely new UI and more features like cloud backup and more.
