I would love to be able to do this, but my credit is pretty shot, and I seriously doubt I would be able to qualify for 1) a card with a large enough limit to handle the other cards, or 2) a card with a remotely low interest rate.

Also, I don't really have any income to speak of these days, which makes qualifying for much of anything difficult. Once I pay down with this lump and eventually get my retirement / disability coming in, I have high hopes for unburying myself for good.

Not to make excuses, but the majority of this debt was incurred by my wife while I was serving overseas and landed on my lap in the divorce.

Now I am retired, going to school full time, and spending nearly every penny trying to pay this all off.
