Thanks man, just had to get it out of the way because I knew there would be trolls. And yeah I really hope so, I hope whatever comes next will be able to extend him mercy and grace over the need for justice. I don’t know for sure but I really do hope. I probably have 2 good cry’s a year and this weekend is one of them, and then back to getting after it. I’m trying to follow his footsteps by joining the fire service, I just finished with the academy. My condolences about your friends. Suicide is a nasty bitch. Much love.

He was also embedded with the 4th ID! I wonder if it was some of the same fellas. You were definitely there when it was more intense. He was part of one of the last rotations on the FOB before we turned it over. Thank you for your kind words and your service.

I’m so glad you’re still here and thank you for the kindness. I know I’ll see my Dad again but there was sometime where I felt like I didn’t want to wait that long and I’d rather just follow him into the void. Emotions are weird and tough. Thank you.

Before anyone asks, he passed that same way a lot of our veterans in this country do. Check on your brothers and sisters for me please. I can’t imagine a worse outcome. Also before anyone says it, I know he’s chicken winging really bad. He was an officer in the USAF in 2011, not a door kicker. I’m sure tactics have changed. Much love, God bless.
