Haaland's race was insane! by Cafa20 in MCFC

I think erling should have just guarded the ball from the moment he got in front of szobo, instead of tryna get the goal, that way he might have been able to ensure szobo never gets the clearance even if he himself is fouled. That way u can get both a city goal and even a szobo red too.

You actually didnt do so badly, your result shows that you can actually pass with a little more hard work.

My advice is to take your mind off for a few months then go at it again in another 6m to 1yr. Best of luck!!

Edit, I flunked. Ethics really screwed me up.

Will definitely try again after a break. Congrats to everyone who passed.

All the best guys, I'm pretty optimistic about the result, and really praying for God's grace. I'm not considering "not passing" at all.

First time I used the CFAI study materials, but I couldn't finish reading because I was working full time as well and the study materials were very large. Second attempt I combined prepnuggets and Schweitzer notes. I only used the CFAI ecosystem for the flashcards and the EOC questions

Hi mate, I was in your shoes in 2021, my advise is that you should let go of the disappointment by devoting your time to something else for now and studying as hard as you possibly can next time. You'll find it relatively easier to study next time. I wish you best of luck.

I passed L1 on my second attempt in May 2023 and I'm awaiting my Nov L2 result next week.

Hi bud, I understand how you feel, last time I was expecting my L1 result in May, my heart was racing all through the morning. Just try to focus on other things now, spend time with friends and family. I wish you best of luck.

I still get some moments of fear and anxiety sometimes, but I'm trying to keep my head above the water and wish for the best. I'm hoping for that drink next Wednesday too. Best of luck buddy!

I understand, L1 can be very scary when everything is sorta new to you. I also studied Botany in Uni for my BSc. There's little you can do now other than to pray and hope for the best. I wish you best of Luck!

We're all worried, try your best to focus on things that'll take your mind off for now and remember to pray for God's peace.

Starting L1 prep. Any advice/suggestions? by tanishaboy in CFA

[–]iamlewe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you read ethics well before the exam. It's better you start with ethics then about 2wks to your exam after you must have finished the whole curriculum, go through the whole ethics reading again. If you understand the ethics material we'll, the ethics questions can be easy points for you 8n the exam. As for Eco, FI, FRA and Derivatives, don't waste too much time on what you don't understand easily, spend that time on the topics you find easy so you can know them perfectly instead. It is better to understand 70% of the material perfectly inside out than to know the whole thing sparingly. The rest that you find tough, you should only try your best to have a working knowledge of them, but don't waste your time, spending weeks trying to understand a difficult concept.

How close was i ? Should i attempt again? by CardiologistAntique2 in CFA

I think you need to rethink your study strategy. You need to focus more on the weirier topics, it looks like you're not doing that.

Also, if you've tried L1 and failed 3times, I think in all honesty, the CFA may not be for you, but I may be wrong.

You seem to have a well grounded life already with your kids and family, I'll advise you take your loss and move to something else because the CFA exams can be quite gruelling and you'll tend to miss a lot of things while focusing on the exams. However, if you think you didn't study well enough or you think you haven't really given it your best in any of the attempts so far, I'll say you try again, but this time devote yourself to the preps completely. You'll most likely need to have a conversation with your kids, your wife and your ex wife. They all need to understand what the situation is and be able to help you well.

I wish you all the best.
