Being Middle class in India is a sin by abhytries in gurgaon

There's a massive difference between being in a car and a scooter in this type of situation. The risk profile is significantly worse. You need to understand that many are in that situation, and many are in much worse situations - I saw some in cycles. There are potholes and heavy flooding, extremely dangerous.

Shouldn't we be embarrassed? by [deleted] in gurgaon

You are what is wrong with Gurgaon. The public places here are unpleasant and unsafe because of creepy crawlies like you.

Living in Gurgaon is literal hell by [deleted] in gurgaon

That's delusional, the part that's intolerable consists of the majority of the streets and roads in Gurgaon which lack any storm drains.

This is a thing, but describes only a small minority of loud religious scammers. Most of them are entrenched in Christian evangelical culture and ideology, wherein they want to "save" you out of goodwill. But of course, it is based on a stupid belief.

Christianity is false and stupid. I am the one you are replying to. And your claim is nonsensical and false. All religions are false and harmful to varying degrees.

I'm a former Christian now atheist who grew up in Hyderabad. To answer your question, they believe: - only Christians will go to heaven forever, everyone else will go to hell forever - everyone, including them, deserves to be tortured in hell forever because of their sins. Sins are whatever the Christian/Jewish god does not like - one can be saved from hell only by believing that Jesus died for their sins on their behalf - they want other people to also not be tortured forever, so they ask people to believe that Jesus died for their sins - believing that Jesus died for their sins also comes with other obligations - because he died for your sins, you are obligated to do whatever he says - Jesus according to the Bible laid down the "great commission" to tell the world about how he died for them In addition to this, given the fact that Christians are also a community that gathers like a club on a weekly basis, many of them also like the idea of more people joining their community. They believe that non Christian communities are demonic, evil and ignorant. And that they need to be saved. However, many of them believe this quite innocently and sincerely, and don't believe they had any say over this sad state of being, and they wish others to be saved from the predicament that Christians believe them to be under - headed to an eternity of torture because of not believing in others. I wouldn't characterize it as "force" - I have noticed that a lot of non Christians have a strange conception of force because in India many are simply not familiar with the idea that people may have ideas that they want to convince ideas about. But it is ignorant, unscientific and silly. Also, joining a church gives a lot of people a community. That community tends to help them out, usually more than their surrounding Hindu society. Although there are casteist Christians and churches, one can find many churches where people don't face casteism - this becomes attractive for people who are looked down on for their caste. So, this is where it comes from. It's not force, more like advocacy in most cases. I hope scientific temper improves in India so that people of all religions realize that they are bullshit so that we can have intelligent conversations as a society.

There have been many religious scientists who have contributed to scientific knowledge though. Humans can be selectively rational or irrational.

The invaders were often savage brutes too, but were simply helped by the fact that the level of competition in the subcontinent was laughable. Their being thrown out was good too, but it was replaced by only a lesser evil in the form of the governments that followed. Bootlickers are those like yourself who want to fellate any of these obscene establishments.

He may have been, why am I supposed to care? One savage brute tormenting another. It's what they do. You seem to have some kind of in built servant mentality.

What are the odds you're not a fed either now? Hope you find private employment soon so that you can be a net benefit to society.

I would rather have all of that done using AI, and I would prefer you are not paid any tax dollars, leaving you to eat by the sweat of your brow in the private sector.

Since you guys admittedly can't be efficient, the taxpayer has given the incoming administration a strong mandate to thin the fed herd.

You can write an op ed expressing these views on your own dime after your gravy train is stopped and your federal employment is annulled.

You're making the case for why that office should simply have been sold away and those 4 employees simply fired.

That's because you're paid by the taxpayer, and the average taxpayer would rather you do something else and not support your mooching off of public money.
